Editing your signature

Edit the footer on every campaign email — six fields with a live preview, plus the compliance fields Grassfed manages.

Every campaign email ends with your signature: your name, title, brokerage, contact details, office address, license details, and a legal disclaimer. Signature in the Settings rail ("The footer on every email") is where you edit your half of it.

The Email signature settings page with the editable detail fields, the locked compliance card, and the live preview of the rendered footer.

Edit your details

  1. Open Settings → Signature.

  2. Fill in the six fields under Your details. Each shows a hint explaining where it appears:

    • Title — how you're described under your name; defaults to "Real Estate Agent".

    • Phone — shown next to your title.

    • Brokerage — shown next to your name.

    • Brokerage office phone — rendered as "Brokerage office: …".

    • Office address — your physical postal address, required by CAN-SPAM on every commercial email; it cannot be removed.

    • Team name — optional, and the one field that changes who the email is signed by. See below.

  3. Watch the Live preview at the bottom — it renders the exact footer your emails will carry as you type.

  4. Select Save signature. Reset discards unsaved edits, and an "Unsaved changes" note appears whenever the form differs from what is saved.

Signing as a team

Team name replaces your own name on the signature — it is shown instead of it, not as an extra line. Fill it in with, say, "The Rivera Group" and your emails sign off as the team rather than as you personally. Leave it blank — the default — and your signature carries your own name exactly as it always has.

Everything else in the footer is unchanged: your title, phone, brokerage, office address, and the compliance fields all still appear. The Live preview at the bottom of the page shows the substitution as you type, so you can see the finished footer before you save.

Important — Applies to new campaigns only

The page says it up front: campaigns that are already built or sending keep the signature they were built with — saving here does not rewrite them. Your next campaign picks up the new signature.

The locked compliance fields

Under your details sits a card titled Compliance — managed by your operator: your License number, License state, and Disclaimer. You can see them, but not change them, because each carries legal weight:

  • License number and state — real-estate advertising rules require your license details to be stated accurately on marketing email. Grassfed keeps them matched to your licensing record so a stray edit can never put wrong license details on thousands of sends.

  • Disclaimer — the legal disclaimer has to stay consistent and correct across every email. Unless a custom one has been set for your account, it reads "Standard MLS disclaimer".

If any of these needs to change — a renewed license, a move to a new state — email Grassfed and it will be updated for you.

Note — Why the office address can't be blank

The office address is the one field that is yours to edit but never to remove: United States law (CAN-SPAM) requires a valid physical postal address on every commercial email. If your office moves, update it here — don't clear it.
